UNPOLISHED Exhibition November 2023.

After the success of our first show at Unpolished I have made this second collection titled ‘Linen Flowers’. I have used flowers pressed this year, backed onto naturally dyed Irish linens, carefully sewn or collaged together.

The collection will be available to purchase from 9th November.

UNPOLISHED Exhibition May 2023.

Our first exhibition is with the beautiful gallery Unpolished, in Stow-on-the Wold. When Nia called to ask if I could create a collection I was over the moon, and couldn’t wait to put it together. Combining my two loves of naturally dyed fabrics which I dye myself using plants and pressed flowers many of which I have grown myself. Using Irish linen it gives a very textured result.

Now all sold.

STRAW Pressed Flowers 2022.

We spent a sunny afternoon on Columbia road selecting the best of the seasonal spring flowers to take back to our studio and press. Resulting in a selection of pressed flower cards and artworks.

MONSOON Windows Marylebone High Street 2021.

SELFRIDGES Windows 2021.

Tie dyed fabric using natural dyes to match pantones. We also created the dried flowers bunches used in the tent pockets.

SSAW 2020.

I spent the most beautiful September afternoon with Liv and Jess from SSAW at one of their flower growing plots. We collected flowers to lay out and dye large strips of Irish Linen. We mainly worked with dahlias, roses and delphinium to create unique prints using a bundle dying method. I then took the linen back to our studio and let the colours cure for a few weeks before making them into napkins.
